China is a force of nature now being unleashed on the world. It is no different than being present at the birth of the British Empire or the emergence of the U.S. after WWII. Undoubtedly, China will also be transformed by its growth as an economic superpower and we should expect the same paroxysms that hit Britain and our own country. Every birth has its pangs.
